I'm trying to find a 3B1 to give to my husband as a surprise. He had
one back in the 80's/90's that he dearly loved, and I think he'd get a
kick out of having one again. Does anyone have one they'd be willing
to send to a new good home? Thanks in advance!

According to Trisket <hollie...@gmail.com>:

Given the weight -- and the difficulty packing one so its "neck"
(between the body and the monitor) is not broken in shipping -- a hint as
to your general locale might make the difference if you could drive over
and pick it up.

Of course, a gmail account gives *no* clue as to physical
locale. I guess that I could have looked at the "NNTP-Posting-Host: "
header and gotten some idea -- but I am already into this followup, so
now is too late. :-)

Good Luck,
DoN.

You're right, that would be helpful. I live in Lexington,
Massachusetts, just outside of Boston.

O.K. I'm not close enough (near Washington DC), but I hope that
someone else is.

And keep watching here -- because every so often, someone will
show up and post that he/she is giving away a 3B1 or 7300 -- or several.
And -- some of the more esoteric (and more easily shippable)
accessories, as well.
