My name is Ivan Rous, and I responded to the following ad about 3B1
sales from George Hamstra. I bought 5 3B1 computers and got 5 spare
ones. I also bought 1 3B2 from him that I connected one of the 3B1
computers as the console. The equipment is still in the original boxes
and packaging; never opened. The UNIX software that George Hamstra has
is System V release 3.51, and it is still in the shrink wrap, along with
documentation manuals.

I have reproduced the original email that I received, and I have not had
any problem with the hardware I have purchased, or with George Hamstra.
You can contact me at the following:

There are NO catches to this offer! I have a warehouse with
approximately 500 NEW AT&T UNIX PC's Model 7300 (circa 1988).
All systems have 1Mb of RAM, 20Mb HD, Keyboard, mono graphics monitor,
mouse, 300/1200 modem, 360 floppy drive. These machines can be used
as VT100 terminals, or as standalone workstations. With each system
you will also receive a NEW unopened copy of UNIX SVR3.51 for use on
this system. These systems CANNOT be used as DOS systems. These
systems are a good way of learning UNIX.

UNIX 3.51 by the case (4 sets to a case) for $7.50 a case.

I have been renting a warehouse that I wish to vacate, you have the
opportunity for 1 DAY ONLY to pick up these systems. Since there
are also about 200 DOA systems, anyone purchasing a NEW unit can
also take a DOA for FREE. There are no limits, and I will not hold
systems, or ship them. There is a workbench if you wish to test
your system, but there are no refunds or guarantees of any sort.
Cash and carry! (no checks or credit cards this is not a business!)

Anyone who wishs to download any of the public domain software
developed for this system (which includes games, spreadsheets,
databases, utilities) may do so for free by contacting my home
system. If you prefer installable diskettes of these software
packages, I will have someone available to make copies for $1.00
each. (after all, I will have to pay this person, and I doubt that
he will be busy all day...) There are literally HUNDREDS of
software packages available, and I keep adding new ones.

Additionally, I have about 12 3B2/310's and 12 3B2/400's as below:
3B2/310 w/XM, dual 72Mb drives, 23Mb tape backup, MAU, 4Mb memory - $65
3B2/400 w/XM, dual 72Mb drives, 23Mb tape backup, MAU, 4Mb memory - $75
I have some ports boards, NI boards, SCSI boards, Starlan Boards, etc.
I also have lots of card cages, power supplies, etc. for the 3B2.

There are also copies of the 3B2 documentation FREE to the first people
buying a 3B2. I do not have copies of the O/S for all of these, but I
will load it for anyone who needs it (all systems orginally came with
disks, they're just lost...)

I have TONS of modems (1200baud), some rack mounted, some in a cabinet
with
a glass door, most of this stuff will be FREE.

Introduction to IN/ix Office System (UNIX SVR3) manuals - FREE.

There is also a brand new copy of Interactive UNIX SVR3 for Intel
platforms - best offer > $15.00 and this includes all the manuals
still covered in plastic....

There is also a AT&T 3Kva UPS - best offer (probably working),
and a AT&T 1Kva that was dropped for free (needs repair...).
