Alternative to Plum/Hall suite?

Is there a less expensive alternative to the Plum/Hall verification suite for
Standard C? $12,000 is a little too steep for my little company. We are
initially developing C compilers for embedded systems, so we are developing
free-standing compilers, not hosted. Therefore, we don
't need to verify the complete set of libraries, e.g., stdio.h.
