Surely, many reasonable posters on this NG know that y2k ain't no big deal.
So, Mr. Milne stop this "hope for the best, prepare for the worst" nonsense. Nobody needs to get prepared for nothing. Things will ALWAYS be good in this country. Even if they get bad, our government will rescue us. Folks dont need to get ready for nothing, There will always be food in stores and plenty of money. We all should trust our leaders and our stock market will go up forever, maybe even longer.
I for one will borrow as much as I can and put it all in stocks! There is PLENTY of money available and we can always print more. And even if folks cant pay back, there is always banktrupcy available.
And this Asian Crisis thing is nothing to worry about, we can print money for them too. Hell, we can always photocopy money if need be.

Well I can't say for sure as I never was propositioned by the man,
personally... but that's the consensus amongst Them What Claims To
Know. Back in Those Days folks were a bit more... circumspect about
Materia Intimata (I don't believe that the word 'homosexual' was used in
those times) but even Whitman's friends were a bit... scandalised by
