Hi,

Does anyone know anything about Empirix's Hammer XP product ? We've
had some consultants in to chat to us about using it for testing our
IVRs and our CTI solution. On the face of it it seems to be quite
good, infact, possibly too good to be true. I was wondering if anyone
had any experience with the product and also what sort of support they
had received from Empirix. I get the impression that their UK/European
operation is reasonably small, but that they are quite big in the US -
is this the case ? Also, does anyone know of any other products which
do the same sort of thing ?

Regards

Sean

I don't work with their Hammer product, our IVR folks use that. I haven't
heard they are impressed.
I work with their eTest Suite. I'm not at all happy with it. Lots of bugs
and limitations and missing features found in other products for the same
price, such as Mercury. We are currently evaluating them as a replacement.

Hi Sean,

I don't have any experience in particular with Hammer XP product.
But I have plenty with Hammer IT and Hammer LB, in the US (California).
Their support has always been very responsive (I had them on the phone a
lot of time for particular development issues).
They also have on the Hammer IT and Hammer LB a remote support with
PCAnywhere. They connect to your Hammer system using a regular analog
phone line and can check in real time what is going wrong. I found this
way of doing very efficient.

I can't speak for Hammer XP product itself, but it looks impressive.

Olivier.
