I need to draw a section drawing of the frame and fondation for a
porch for my buildng permit. Is there some freeware or inexpensive
CAD that will help me do this.

It would be nice if it had scaled built in templates for dimensional
lumber. That is I could specify a 2X8 crossection and it would draw
it at 1 5/8" X 7 5/8".
