Apart from various sorts of spam, we seem to have

April 2013 - Job ad
February 2012 - call for papers
October 2011 - actual on-topic posts

So,

1) Where has everybody gone?

2) Does anyone actually still care about SCM?

When I think of it, there were a handful of people driving the group.
Maybe they happened to get tired, or lose Usenet access, or move to
Stackoverflow, at the same time.

More than ever. Since I posted here (until 2011) I've moved from CVS
and ClearCase to Git. Less problematic, but at the same time there
are now more interesting things you can do ...

I always wonder how solid these evolutions (such as SO) are. They offer lot's of features, but how will they witstand time? Usenet has.

As if younger generations are no longer interested in KISS, but choose for glitter and fancy UIs.

(And yes, I also evolved from CVS-CC-SVN to Git)
