Job Description:
Client is seeking a Health Information Exchange (HIE) Analyst
Programmer for a 6-month contract to assist in connecting GE and
Cerner EMRs to an enterprise HIE.
Analyst will have primary responsibility of gathering requirements and
developing/testing interfaces.
Must have the ability to communicate with both technical and non-
technical individuals and be able to translate needs, ideas and
suggestions into logical solutions that interconnect systems.
Behaviour Characteristics:
Self-motivated and a quick learner who works well in a team.
Good communication skills (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
Well organized and detail oriented.
Capable of managing multiple concurrent tasks successfully
Required Skills & Experience:
"5 Years of experience in Hands on experience in implementation of
interfaces to EMR systems is Required
"5 Years of experience in Strong analytical and independent problem
solving skills is Required
"5 Years of experience in Hands on experience in java-based web
services, SOAP, javascript and XML pr is Required
"Experience in HL7, Mirth interface engine, NwHIN, XDS.b, SQL is
Highly desired
