Image Processing Tool Boxes

I'm looking for some information on various image
processing tool boxes that are available in the
market. The information I'm interested in is the
price, ease of use, how good it is and ability to
run on either Windows or Unix platforms. I would
really appreciate it if somebody could email me
this info. Even if you have some experience using
a particular tool box, please do let me know about
it. Thanks.
