box plot for a group of variables

hi,

i want to have a box and whisker plots for a group variables. my
problem is that i can not assign only "one variable name" for each
group. for example, i have two (or more) metal data from two (or
more)
sampling sites.

Pb1, Pb2, Pb3
As1, As2, As3
Cd1, Cd2, Cd3
V1, V2, V3

i want each group of metal to have one label (e.g. Pb, As only) and
the sites (e.g 1, 2, 3) to show up in different color in the legen.

i am using spss for this work. please help me solve this problem.
