Hi!! can anyone tell me how to input control variables in a multiple
regression analysis using spss

i have control variables like team size ..how do i input

Please rvert back with your advice ASAP!!

typically, you just enter your control variables in the first block of
your linear multiple regression. Then you can see the incremental and
unique variance that ensues as a result of adding your other variables
as the next step(s) in the model.

was just wondering whether one can input categorical controls in
regression..

If you want to include a categorical control variable in your
regression, you would have to convert it to a series of dummy variables
first. A five category race variable, for example, would become five
different variables with values of 0 or 1. Then enter all but one of
the dummy variables into your model.
