For the past couple years I have had SPSS 16 on my laptop, but when
the license expired I upgraded to SPSS 17. It seems to run fine, but
I've noticed that I am missing several important options in my Analyze
menu: mainly the options to run multivariate and repeated measures
GLMs. Since these are pretty important functions that I use regularly
I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? And if so, is
there any way I can fix it?

I can currently access version 16 through my university's server and
run it on my laptop, but it would be nice to actually have a version
installed with all the information in my computer.

Hi Michelle,

It sounds like the version 17 that you have installed is licensed for
different modules that your university's network license. Repeated
measures GLM, for example, is part of the Advanced Statistics module.
To find out which modules you have run the syntax: SHOW LIC. Your
university's license possibly includes the more common set of modules
such as Advanced Statistics, Regression Models, Missing Value
Analysis, Categories, Custom Tables, Trends etc.

Hope this helps.
Kylie.
