Would anyone know whether Data Entry or another SPSS program can be used
to administer in real-time (on a Windows 95 machine) a battery of
psychological questionnaires (e.g., Beck Depression Inventory, State-Trait
Anxiety Inventory, etc.).
Most important, once the data is in a Data Entry file can SPSS scripts
be written to convert the raw scores into scaled or "T" scores on a test
like the MMPI where the scores need to be scaled against normative data (for
age and gender) before it is interpretable. This conversion is the hurdle we
need to overcome, but using an SPSS program would be ideal since our
research center relies on SPSS products for all its data management and
analytic needs.
Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.
