Forecasting Statistician
SYLVIA
Use your quantitative and forecasting skills to support the forecasting
and marketing groups for this major transportation company. Long-term
assignment developing and enhancing forecasting models of complex
systems. Utilize your strong SQL and Data Mining experience to improve
the accuracy of the forecasting models.
3-5 years of experience developing Forecast and Time Series models.
Experience using Bayesian approaches and other techniques
Experience with SQL and relational databases
Experience with data mining and related technologies
M.S. or Ph.D. in Statistics, Math or Operations Research or a related
quantitative discipline.
Experience with forecasting in transportation and logistics industries
Very strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills
Must have excellent oral and writtten communication skills.
