We are performing a stress/volume test of PeopleSoft Financials 7. As part
of the test, we are logging in several hundred (~150-200) simulated users in
three-tier mode using the Mercury LoadRunner load testing tool; these
simulated users execute a series of PeopleSoft transactions in a loop.
After roughly 65-70% of the connections have been established, the remaining
simulated users experience PeopleSoft 'Network API' errors, basically
related to an inability to achieve successful connections with the
application server. A live user that tries to connect to PeopleSoft in
three-tier mode at this point also encounters the same problem.

Our TUXLOG.xxxxxx reports the following message:

..
175018.pdcgl07!WSH.20610: LIBTUX_CAT:1122: ERROR: No space in Bulletin Board
175018.pdcgl07!WSH.20610: LIBTUX_CAT:582: ERROR: Unable to register,
registry table full
..

This message is repeated many times, as users try and fail to establish
connections. Any ideas on what may be causing this, and what the remedies
might be?

BTW, we are running on Tuxedo 6.3 with PeopleSoft Financials 7.01 on Sybase
11.9.2 on Solaris 2.5.1. Any help would be appreciated. Responses can be
directed to joe....@csfb.com. Thanks!

Joe

You have exceeded the number of configured users in your TUXEDO
application.

You need to raise MAXACCESSERS, and possibly MAXWSCLIENTS in the TUXEDO
UBBCONFIG file. I don't know if you have direct access to the UBBCONFIG
when using Peoplesoft, but that's what the TUXEDO error message means.

Sounds like you need to increase MAXACCESSERS or MAXWSCLIENTS in the resources
section of the ubbconfig

Hmm... Be careful here. MAXACCESSERS should be set in the *RESOURCES
section, but should be overridden for each machine in your domain in
the *MACHINES section. MAXWSCLIENTS is a parameter that can only be
specified in the *MACHINES section.
