hi,
i've installed r14 on my Mac Powerbook g4 and it works fine but when
my laptop is not connected to the network i receive a flex error:

FATAL MATLAB Error:
License Manager Error -96.
Server node is down or not responding
See the system adminstrator about starting the server, or
make sure the you're referring to the right host (see
LM_LICENSE_FILE)
Feature: MATLAB
Hostname: mega.ino.it
License path:
/Applications/MATLAB7/etc/license.dat:/Applications/MATLAB7 -
/etc/*.lic
FLEXlm error: -96,7. System Error: 22 Invalid argument
For further information, refer to the FLEXlm End User Manual,
available at www.macrovision.com.

my license is individual and mega.ino.it is my powerbook! it seems
that flex does not recognize that the license is in the laptop.
Can someone help me?
Thank you in advance
Alessandro

Hi Alessandro,

I believe the following solution will help you. I found it by going to our
support site and searching for "mac laptop".
