hello everybody, merry christmas!

i have question about simulink.
i want to descretize a signal (to make it easy, i assume
it to be scalar at first.)
its continious, but i want to descretize it, in the manner of the
picture.

so, at some times, its the value of the blue, else 0.
is that possible ?
i haven't found anything about discretizing yet, i m not too
familiar with signal theory.

Thanks in advice,

The sampling you show could probably be done but is very non-standard.
Discretization is usually performed using the Zero-Order-Hold block from the Discrete library.
