Hi Bernardo:

I searched through the MATLAB Helpdesk, and found a site that gives detailed
directions for how to open a Version 5.0 GUI with Version 6.0 GUIDE. If you
take a look at this URL:

http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/techdoc/creating_guis/creating
_guis.shtml

and click on the "Editing Version 5 GUIs with Version 6 GUIDE" link in the
left frame of the page [or click on "Creating Graphical User Interfaces" in
the right frame, which should give you that same link] you should find the
instructions you need to set up your GUI to be able to edit it in Version 6
GUIDE.

Hi Bernardo,

I had this problem, too.
You have to save your GUI as figure file in Version 5!

First open your M-File in Version 5. Set the MenuBar property to
figure. Activate your figure. Choose File -> Save as... in the Menubar
and save your programm as (name).fig.

After you saved it. Close Matlab Version 5 and open Version 6. Here
you can edit now the figure file. (Type: guide (name).fig )

I hope this helps you.
