Does anyone know how Matlab handles > 2-D matrices - must one address
elements as matrices within another matrix ??
Or is it simply not viable on Matlab ??

I am testing IDL and Matlab at the moment , and it seems IDL can handle up to
8-D.

In the Mathworks newsletter, Vol 7 No 4, in article ``MATLAB Conference
was "Ten Years in the Making"'':
"important language extensions for multidimensional arrays" are planed
for MATLAB 5.0.
