Running the line:
instrhwinfo visa
returns:
InstalledAdaptors: {1x0 cell}

Thanks in advance for any help.
Hi Cameron,
If you installed the Agilent IO Suite, the instrhwinfo command should work. The visa32.dll or visa64.dll required by MATLAB will be in the windows system32/system64 directory. Note that the binary type of the library must match the binary type of MATLAB. 64 bit MATLAB requires 64 bit Agilent libraries. 32 bit MATLAB requires 32 bit Agilent libraries.
If that does not help, I'd suggest contacting tech support so we can figure out why you ran into this problem.
I'm currently having the same problem. Any solutions?
I did eventually get it to work. It seems the I/O libraries that come on disc with the function generator do not work correctly with Matlab. A new version of the libraries suite is available from Agilent here:
The link to download is at the bottom of the page. Matlab was able to recognize the Agilent VISA after I installed the new set of libraries.
I have downloaded the IO libraries.. but still have a problem with downloadng the matlab file into the Agilent 33220a.
Would you mind of sharing of your matlab scripts that download the matlab file into the instrument??
Thanks in advance!!!!
