Hallo!

My Problem is, that I want to copy a Simulink-model, which is
bigger than the screen, as a graphic into an other program (f.e. Winword,
Paintshop). But with "copy" I get only the part of the model in my picture,
which is to see on the screen.
What can I do to get the whole model in a picture?

A second problem is to save figures in graphic programs to edit them . The
solution of the printings is not the best.

Thanks for help.

Detlev

Hi,

If you only want to include the file, and not edit it, in your
document you can use the PRINT command to get the whole system drawn
in an Encapsulated PostScript file (EPS) or one of the printer formats
supported by GhostScript if you are using a non-postscript printer;
see the on-line help of the PRINT command.

You could use MATLAB's Illustrator output driver, again by using
PRINT, if you have an Adobe Illustrator '88 compatible application.
Otherwise you can save the System as a pixmap in GIF or PCX format and
edit that.

Note it is only the Windows Meta and Bitmap drivers that have this
problem; the other PRINT drivers do not.

Hi,
a) try 'clipboard' 'copy' with 'clipboard options'= Windows Metafile or
Bitmap. In tis case the outfit of the figures changes a little (or
more).
b) try 'edit' 'select all' and then 'edit' 'copy'. With Winword it works
fine.
