Where is BUS BAR in SimPowerSystems?
How can you connect three nodes?

Hi,
see my answers:

> Where is BUS BAR in SimPowerSystems?

in simulink window, click on "Library", type "BUS" in the search bar and a bus block will appear. it is available in the basic blocks of the library.

> How can you connect three nodes?

simply if you found three phase bus bar, for ex, connect the inputs to one side (one branch), connect the outputs to the other side (second branch), and connect your third branch to the second or first branch,
Note that you will find a dot at the intersection of the of the two branches.

I did not find it. I've just found both BUS CREATOR and BUS SELECTOR but the BUS BAR block I haven't.
I'm studying from a tutorial and it is necessary to get the BUS BAR.
The tutorial says: "Open the Bus Bar dialog box and set its parameters at two inputs and two outputs"
Can somebody help me?
Thanks.

This block no longer exists (actually hasn't existed since about 2002), see
for example p.7 of:
http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk_r13/help/pdf_doc/physmod/powersys/power_conversion.pdf

"Previous versions of the SimPowerSystems and Power System Blockset
libraries have the Bus Bar block and the two special T and L Connector
blocks
to interconnect other blocks. In the Version 3.0 library, these blocks no
longer
exist."

It looks like your tutorial is quite out of date. Use the getting started of
the SimPowerSystems documentation instead:
http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/toolbox/physmod/powersys/ug/f10-1368.html

Ans..

In MATLAB, you can find bus selector, bus creator...but by using bus creator you will get only one output and you can give multiple inputs. if you require multiple outputs from single input then you can connect DEMUX and vice versa..

If u want then you can share your problem @ shreedhar....@gmail.com
