bummer uninstallation error---Exception calling main

Everytime I start matlab7 it gives runtime error and terminates with
error message "this application has requested the runtime to
terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application support team for more information"
when i go for uninstallation the header is "bummer uninstaller error"
and it is written "Exception calling main"
I even reinstalled it in that same folder but all this continued
anyone plz help me asap as i hv to take part in autonomous
robot contest and prog is to be prepared

1. Right click at the desktop > click personalize > Scroll down to the bottom of the window screen > click Windows Classic.
2. Now uninstall Matlab 7. Click Start > Matlab7 > Uninstall.

Matlab 7 does this on windows 8 64 bit system
Try Right click and choose troubleshoot compatibility and then choose worked on earlier windows version then choose windows vista service pack 2 hopefullt it will work
anyways if that doesn't work do the same trick with uninstalling that will do the trick, I tested it
