Hi

How come in the following snippet

--------------------
x = 1:1000;
hold on;
semilogx(x, 1./x)
--------------------

semilogx works as plot instead, i.e. "hold on" changes its behaviour?
Is this a bug? Are there any workarounds?

Thanks

Oleg

You can use this:
x = 1:1000;
hold on;
semilogx(x, 1./x)
set(gca,'xscale','log')

Here's the reason of this problem:
