I need to load some 3D matrix in my project. Due to windows memory
limit, I can only load 4 uint8 full matrics.

I am going to write my own support of 3D sparse matrix, but if Matlab
would support it quickly, it might be wise to wait.

Or, any people know any 3rd party toolbox can do similar thing?

Hi,
There where several posts on this subject in the past. There is no sign form
MTW in this direction. Instead their recommendation is to use cell array of 2D
sparse matrices. You can find some FAQ at MTW site on this subject.

If my memory is correct, someone has mentioned that he/she has
implemented some 3D sparse matrices and has asked for someone to
test the routines... maybe you can do a google group search and
see if you can find that post or not.

Hudu,
Code for my ndsparse data type is available at
www4.ncsu.edu/~pfackler/ndsparse.zip
There is a PS file explaining it.
