multivariate adaptive regression splines (MARS) in MATLAB

Dear all,

I would like to implement MARS in my research. I heard that typical MATLAB do not have this function. and I found SPRT toolbox by Vojtech Franc. but I do not know how to use it.

Any has any idea on how to use MARS in matlab? otherwise, I have to use [R], but I really do not want to.

any suggestion is appreciated.
