Hi,
I have identified an NLARX model with multi input mult iouput data, dtermined the initial states using the command x0 = findstates(M4,z,[],'sim'),and when this idnlarx model is used in controller design in simulink with this initial states, the NLARX block is generating output indepedent of the input data from the system rather it is only based on the iddata "z".How can i use this NLARX block in simulink which is meant to produce the outpu dependeding on the plant output(input to model).
thanks
ramesh

Perhaps this could help?

http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/51708-problem-with-system-identification-toolbox-and-sim-command

Otherwise, please write back with more details on what you did and what
differences (unexpected behavior) you saw.

sir,
thanks alot for kind attention,
actually i have devoloped 6 input 6 otput mimo NLARX model
for a particular system,
now when i am using this identified model in controller application
am specifying model initial states
which i got from the command [x0 = findstates(M4,z,[],'sim')]
then, model gives the expected out put even without an input.
actually what i want is,an NLARX MODEL which should produce the out put
with respect to inputs rather than
model out irrespective of inputs..
what modification i have to use?
plz suggest me the way to tackle this problem
regards
ramesh
