Hello,

Assume I have build a Simulink model to an xPC target dlm file using an installation of Matlab including Simulink, Matlab Coder, Simulink Coder and the xPC target toolbox.
Now, my question is: is it possible to use another PC where only Matlab and Simulink and perhaps xPC target are installed (but not the two coders!) to act as a host PC in a host - target setup where the target is an xPC machine.
So in summary, can I use Matlab commands like "tg = xpc()", "tg.load", "tg.start" etc. in an environment without Matlab Coder and Simulink Coder when I already have a prebuild dlm file.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, as long as you have xPC Target installed on the Host machine, you are able to call 'tg = xpc' and get the xPC Target environment and load the DLM model. The model has to be compiled for the correct xPC Target version.
