If you are running on Windows (it appears that you are), the solution is
to open the file in V-Realm Builder that is shipped with Simulink 3D
Animation. This tool can read VRML 1.0 files. Then, you just save the
file as VRML97 which is the native format for Simulink 3D Animation.
