Device Facts : SSSC( series compensator )
in Simpowersystems , I want to simulate it.

I look up power_sssc.mdl in simulink but don't see it!
Because i'm doing thesis !

Version 4.0 of SimPowerSystems coming with latest Matlab release
(R14sp1) now includes a FACTS library (phasor models).
Phasor models are very fast models for simulating FACTS dynamics and
interactions with machines over long time ranges (several tens of
seconds)
SPS4.0 also provides several demos of detailed FACTS models with
thyristors, (SVC)GTOs (STATCOM)....

Dear PowerSys_Users,
Can anybody tell me on what type STATCOM Model will be
useful for simulating static and dynamic models of STATCOM in C lang
or MATLAB ( preferably without using FACTS library of SImPowerSystems),
as i need this for my M.Tech project. my prj is on Dynamic Simulation
Of Power Systems with FACTS controllers and now at present iam working
on STATCOM.
