I'm getting tired of "right clicking on a block > Format > Hide Name", is there some way I can setup a shortcut for this?

Thanks,
Brian

I'm also tired of this and would love a short cut. I *think* there is a way to define block prototypes for new simulink models, whereby you could set the show name property for most blocks to be 'hidden'. However I haven't tried this before. I don't know if it would work when dragging blocks out of the library browser.

I'm not aware of any shortcut. However you may right-click the name (or shift-left click) and press delete. It will hide the name of the block.

Seems that it only worked till MatLab/Simulink 2012. In 2013 I will get a Cursor to edit the name. Is there a convenient way to hide the block Name for newer Versions?

Hello!
In MATLAB R2015a, you can
"Mouse hold left > Rectangular selection of all blocks, release > Right click on one block in the selection > Format > Show Block Name"
Hope that helps for older versions too...
Friendly greetings,
Lionel
