Hi,

I set a breakpoint and run. As expected, the debugger stops at my breakpoint and the green arrow is displayed right next to the breakpoint. However, when I then step into a function I am still in debug mode but the green arrow is missing. I can still step through the function but there is no green arrow telling me exactly where I am.

Any ideas on what may be wrong? I am running R14, SP2.

In article <gpu4g2$l6m$1...@fred.mathworks.com>, sharon....@yahoo.com
says...

Just guessing... perhaps you have a clear statement somewhere that gets
executed (although that should only remove the breakpoints...).

Hi, I had the same problem, try to set your Current Folder to the folder that contains the script you are working on.

The problem sometimes occurs when you try to step-in to a function located in a p-code file. The arrow becomes white because the green one is actually going through the p-code file function, and the p-code is not visible to you.

Apparently it is a bug. Try to see if you have added a relative path to your current path, like 'path_part_1\..\path_part_2'. Remove it and give it an absolute path!

The solution is from here:

Confirmed also in R2011b Win7 64. Removing relative paths restores sanity.
