I haven't yet stumbled into how to make ContourPlot lines any thicker.
Thickness isn't a option for the command and I can seem to find any
graphics primitive that it will take.

Any help will be appreciated; these contour lines are too thin to copy!

I think the optio you want is ContourStyle. The following example works
for me:

ContourPlot[x^3 - 3x y^2,{x,-2,2},{y,-2,2},
Contours->{-6,3,-1,-0.05,0.05,1,3,6},
ContourShading->False,PlotPoints->60,
ContourStyle->{{AbsoluteThickness[0]},
{AbsoluteThickness[0]},{AbsoluteThickness[4]},
{AbsoluteThickness[0]}}]

Rob,

ContourStyle is the option you need:

ContourPlot[x,{x,0,1},{y,0,1},
ContourStyle -> {{Thickness[.02], RGBColor[1,0,0],
Dashing[{.02,.04}]},{Thickness[.01],Hue[.1]}}]
