Hi,

Pressing F1 when I want to reference the selected funtion does not work (it
does select the function name but no pop-up emerges).

Trying the same from menu bar "Help>Find selected function F1" or typing in
function in search bars do not work either.

I can browse via the function navigator so the help files are there but that
is not really convenient.

Anyone any idea what can be done to correct this?

Thanks

Sander

Do you have an F-key lock on your keyboard? Mine has one and the F-lock
is set whenever I reboot, which renders all the F-keys inactive. The
lock is probably somewhere in the upper right hand corner of your keyboard.

Has this always been the case or did it just start after years of good
service? If so, did something change on your system? Did you move
Mathematica files, edit init files? Do you encounter other strange
things, crashes etc.?

In article <i5idnu$jq4$1...@smc.vnet.net>,

It may be easier to uninstall and reinstall Mathematica.
