Which version of Maple? which debian: stable, unstable, etc?

I have Maple 8 running on a mixture of debian stable and unstable (some
testing too). I haven't got around to installing my Maple 9 yet.

I installed Maple 9 on Xandros 2.0, which is Debian based.
I just ran LinuxInstaller.bin from the shell, and had
no problems with installation.

The only problem I have is that Maplets are not working
(see my message several posts below in this group).
All other functionality is fine, as far as i can tell.

Unfortunately Maple support refuses to answer Debian-related
questions. They sent me email message saying that they
have not tested Maple 9 on Debian and they do not officially
support it.
