Hello,
I need to create a GRID from contour lines (line theme) with elevation info.
Spatial and 3D extensions allow to create grids only from points themes.
Do I have to create first the TIN from contour lines theme and then convert
the TIN to GRID or exist other solutions?

thanks in advance

Paul

Paul,

I don't know if this helps or not, but there is an ArcView script that can
drop the contours to a point coverage. From there you can create a grid from
the points.

Hi Paul,

We, at GeoArctic, have written an extension to 3D Analyst that allows
you to do just that; create grids from contours, without having to
first convert to points.

You can download a 15 day trial version at www.geoarctic.com.

Hope this helps,

Mark
