We have migrated a customers application from U8.4 to U9.4.01. We've
placed the application on a W2003-server (don't know if it is Standard
or Enterprise).
When we run the app logged in as admin on the server everything works
fine. When we try to start the application from the normal desktops of
our customer, we just can't get it to start. This is the same (and
normal) way the application was installed with Uniface 8.
The user loggd in on the desktop is in the (local) administratorgroup
on the server
When we start the application with /pri=(high number) we get this:

The environment is:
Desktop:
Windows XP
Sybase Open Client 15.0 (and also tried OC 12.5)
Server:
Windows 2003
Uniface 9.4 (upto patch 103)
Sybase ASE 15
We tried numerous things, work arounds, etc. I don't mention them
here. Posting would be very long ;-(
Anybody with clues? I really don't know what to do anymore.

Uniface cannot find the DOL and URR objects that it needs to start up.
There are two solutions, depending on what you want:
1) Use the standard Uniface files, plus your own.
In this case just give read access to installation files like:
D:\Program Files\Compuware\Uniface\common\adm\usys.asn
D:\Program Files\Compuware\Uniface\common\usys\usys.urr
D:\Program Files\Compuware\Uniface\common\usys\uana.urr
2) Put everything in your own asn / urr /dol files.
In this case just make sure you include everything Uniface needs.
With kind regards,
Theo Neeskens
