   SYNOPSIS:
Build of ACE fails when cross building for an ARM processor using the
buildroot environment.

   DESCRIPTION:
The configure and build process fails when cross compiling using the
buildroot environment.  Note, that this environment uses uClibc and
not GLIBC, but defines __GLIBC__ because it is almost compatible.
There are some configure tests that can't be run when cross
compiling.  This environment has whar_t but not wchar.h which causes
some other configure tests to fail, so I added a preprocessor
conditional around the inclusion of wchar.h in the configure tests.

Thanks for using the PRF form. I have fixed the things which didn’t had any risk, the one in configure related to cross compile, and os_stddef.h, for wchar.h, I think you should check ACE_HAS_WCHAR_H, most important is to test whether this doesn’t break regular builds. For cross compilation we do recommend the traditional way of compilation.
