I want to thank you for your support of the Society of Modeling and
Simulation, and your vote for me as President in the 2011 election.
As a society, we have added a new conference, the Autumn Simulation
Conference. Our debut, this October, included a great turnout for medical
simulation. This track is rapidly becoming a focus for the society and we
plan to index the Transactions on Simulation in PubMed during 2013. This
will greatly add to the medical simulation contributors and result in the
continuing contribution of the SCS in moving the field of modeling and
simulation in the service of society.
My best wishes to you, and your families, for the upcoming holidays and the
new year.
