I have been using version 2.30 with no problems. Does version 2.52 have any new
features? Is there any reason for me to upgrade?

You can now decrypt a file encrypted with any password without having to
change your normal encryption password setting to match. It can also now
encrypt/decrypt from the root of a drive, which the previous version could
not.
