Question #1
A script runs as an ordinary user. I need to connect, thru ssh (I have
2.0.11), as root on the same machine. When I type, in a script, "ssh -l root
{machine name}" ... I get this message back:
sshd[4903]: Remote host disconnected: Protocol error: packet too long:
-290275176
Question #2
What are the steps needed to set up a ssh connection without passwd prompting.
I need for scripting purposes.
I run Linux RedHat 5.2 on a Pentium. SSh2 version 2.0.11 and ssh1 v.26
Thanks for your help.
