Hello Everybody,

I'm not sure if putty can emulate an ANSI terminal but, if so, which
options do I have to configure?

I have tried some but the result is always the same: putty inform to
the host that he is a XTERM terminal.

And I'd need putty to say that he is a ANSI terminal.

Any help would be appreciated

Bye

Change the "terminal-type string".

Note that this won't change the terminal emulation PuTTY performs,
just what it reports to the remote host.
