posting via telnet? (telnet session)

attached below is the telnet session for referenced post.
it was produced by telnetting to the open wingate proxy
at SPEAKEASY.NET, like this:

telnet dsl081-086-231.lax1.dsl.speakeasy.net 23

after which, you'll get the WINGATE prompt and can proceed
to the SQUID proxy at EAZE.net and onwards to the NNTP server
at NEWS.EAZE.NET.

after the NNTP's "herald" message, the commands to POST and
then retrieve an article are the lines that start with uppercase
words (except for the article itself).

notice that was a post via Telnet through a chain of two proxies?
