More precisely, (1) I've gotten two real-looking return-to-sender
messages, which makes me think that mail was sent out in my name to bad
addresses. (I'd gotten many spam messages which were made to look like
return-to-sender messages, but these two looked real. I neglected to save
them, but if I get another will try to remember to post it as a f'up to
this post.) Also, (2) I just today got an e-mail, which I posted to nanas
with msg-id <Pine.GSO.4.58.04...@ascc.artsci.wustl.edu>. (I
at first thought it was a crude method of collecting valid addresses --
see it for details -- but now think it's in response to a e-mail spoofed
from me.)
So, two questions:
Do y'all agree my address is being spoofed?
If it is, should I do something about it? (After all, I don't like my
name being attached to things not from me.)
If so, what should I do? (Should I perhaps clear-sign my messages with
PGP? I've never learned if and how to use PGP, but I guess I can start.
In my spare time -- ha!)
