I want to install PGP 8.1 on my USB flash drive so that when I travel
and use public PC I will be able to use PGPDisk on my USB drive. But
PGP 8.1 detects installation om my PC and does not allow to install PGP
on USB flash drive.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

If I were you I might create a PGP Disk Volume on the Flash key and
take the SW and license keys with you on a seperate media. Then when
ever you need to access the PGP Disk Volume on a new PC you'll have to
install PGP 8.1 and enter your license key (in order to get the Disk
Volume feature). And use a pass phrase instead of your key rings.

I always travel with my laptop and have all private information
encrypted on a PGP Disk Volume.

Since (as far as I know) PGPDisk requires you to install software on the
computer, I would seek for other alternatives.

It can't be done.
You will either have to install PGP on the computer or use computers with it
already insatlled. At least you will only have to travel with your key
rings
