Windows-specific features and enhancements include:
- PGP NetShare. PGP Corporation's new network storage file encryption
solution provides secure, multi-user file sharing.

- Whole Disk Encryption (WDE) Single Sign-On for improved user
efficiency.

- WDE Partition Encryption.

- WDE performance enhancements.

Mac OS X-specific features and enhancements include:
- Intel-based Mac support is delivered through a Universal binary for
Mac OS X users, along with an improved Mac user interface.

- PGP Whole Disk Encryption introduces encryption of entire non-boot
volume hard disks for Mac OS X, including multiple-user support and
full compatibility with PGP Whole Disk-encrypted disks from PGP Desktop
for Windows.

Additional new features and enhancements include:
- Messaging Policy Enhancements introduces a number of new policies in
the Messaging Policy Editor including sending signed-only messages by
policy, triggering encryption/signing behavior based on message size,
and searching specific keys.domain for key look up.

- Notifier delivers comprehensive status and control for your outbound
messages. Know the results of key lookups and exactly how the message
will be sent to each recipient prior to deciding whether to send the
message.

- Full S/MIME Support has been added to the Outlook MAPI and Lotus
Notes messaging components. Support for separate signing and encryption
keys.

- Dynamically re-sizable virtual disks. No more having to create new
virtual disks and copy contents as they grow in size.

- FIPS 140-2 Integrity Checking option.

- International character set encoding improvements.

- Public beta 2 delivers German and Japanese language localization in
addition to numerous bug fixes.
