Hello,

is it possible to use AOL with Outlook or Eudora and the PGP Plugin?

Or is it possible to use the AOL Software with PGP?

I'm not an AOL User, but a friend of mine and he wants to use PGP
also.

No, not as far as i know.

Yes, compose the e-mail with AOL-Software and just befor sending, do a
right click on the PGP-Tray (lower right corner), select "current
window" -> "encrypt" -> select the recipients key and click OK, now
the message should appear encrypted in the AOL-e-mail window.

Probably, yes.

Probably, no. (unless you are smart enough to use the clip-board)

That is always great news!

Well, what I know about AOL/Compuserve, is that they bought out
'Netscape Communications Corporation'. And Outlook and Eudora are not
standard Netscape or even Internet Explorer software. So my reply was
more like "If you can run Outlook/Eudora on AOL -> The PGP Plugin will
probably work". This is a PGP newsgroup after all. Not an e-mail client
newsgroup. If they don't get Eudora/Outlook working with AOL, we can
always send them to another group :-) Let them work it out.

Regards,
Thomas
