What will happen to PGP now that McAfee owns it?

Is PGP still free even though McAfee bought the rights to it?

Also, does PGP still use the IDEA algorithm?

It's a commercial product although it's not being upgraded by McAfee or
NAI. so you would have to buy these products. Imad's PGP Page
http://www.ipgpp.com/ contains customized CKT (Cyber-Knights Templar)
builds of "FREE" PGP with all the features of PGP Desktop Security.
PGP 6.5.8ckt build 08 fixes various probs with XP compatibility
