Thanks.
I tried it and threw it out. I have heard about people that are more than
satisfied though.
My problem (also happened at a customer site), was that after a month of
operation, the bastille part of the firewall decided not to work.
If there's anything I want in a firewall - it's stabillity!!
Mandrake has alot of support for stuff other firewalls doesn't though, so if
you are not dependant on 24/7 operation, or make it work properly - I'd give
it a go.
Nice admin interface and simple setup.

I just gave it a try. I'm not very happy with it as a firewall, but my
next workstation-installation will be Mandrake.
For settetng up a Firewall, there are to many packages and programes
installed. On a firewall you just install the progames you really need
and nothing more. In the next days (-: I hope :-) I'll remove Mandrake
and go back to Slackware.
Carsten
one could choose to install mandrake in expert mode and select only the
needed packages.
