Used Cybermotion K2A robots available

Attention Universities and Robotics Researchers:

A number of used K2A based robots are about to become
available. These are serious mobile robots with a 350-500
pound payload capacity (depending on revision level) and
are currently in full time operation and under maintenance.
They are probably out of the budget of most hobbiests, but well
within that of any institutional lab. They are very powerful
and rugged and have cast aluminum turrets and drive systems.

These units can be obtained for no more than a new light duty
research platform. Many K2As are in use at major Universities and
government research estabilishments around the world. This
is the first time we have had such units available used. They
have been in service from 4 to 10 years but all units will carry
a warrantee.

These robots use concentric shaft Synchro-drive and include all systems
needed for autonomous navigation and collision avoidance. Our
current control software (i-Con) and programming software (PathCAD3) is
all fully compatible with these units. The units include data radios,
and security patrol instrumentation will also be available in some
cases.
